Le Bontà di Villa Dafne offers you meat from animals born and raised in Sicily, in an area between the low Madonie and the Sicani Mountains between the municipalities of Alia, Castronovo di Sicilia and Valledolmo and raised in full respect of animal welfare.
In fact, our animals are raised on pasture in a period that goes from March to October, when the weather conditions are favorable, while in the remaining periods they are fed with hay, straw and cereals, so as to have tender meat, with a uniform color and a particularly delicious flavor.
Our animals'diet is a quality diet with a high biodiversity thanks to the numerous pabular essences. This meat is made even more tender and tasty also thanks to the aging, a slow and natural process during which the meat rests and matures in cold storage at controlled temperature and humidity, becoming softer and juicier thanks to a series of positive reactions in the muscle structure.
