Trio of Sicilian Lemmas

The appetizer in the shape of the Sicilian Coppo is a piece of local craftsmanship, which recalls the typical element used for the roofing of the houses of the Sicilian hinterland. The shape of the tile, also known as the "curved tile" or "canal", resembles that of the half cylinder or more precisely a third of a truncated cone, and derives from the ancient Etruscan tradition, later assimilated by the Romans, of the processing and firing of clay for the creation of versatile and resistant materials for construction. In the two small or large versions, choose the one that's right for you, and you can serve your appetizers at the table in this wonderful glazed terracotta object made in Sicily. You can only find it in our Shop of "Le Bontà di Villa Dafne"
