Nero di Sicilia cheese is a typical Sicilian cheese. It is a compact and semi-hard cheese, characterized by the presence of a black rind, from which it derives its name. During the first seasoning, in fact, the wheel is "cappata", i.e. covered with extra virgin olive oil ground black pepper, which gives the black color to the rind, but at the same time a spicy flavor, and a delicate and characteristic aroma with a spicy note on the finish. A unique product of its kind, born and produced on our farm and with a fully Sicilian character.
